Bringing Your Event Visions to Reality

After 34 years of teaching, I decided to retire in 2021 and start Planned to Perfection Events, LLC. My experience in classroom management and leading various committees along with planning engaging lessons and creative events allowed me take that expertise into a whole other arena. I coordinated events like talent shows, field trips, theatrical productions, poetry and pastries nights, history fairs, and awards ceremonies.

Designing creative decor is something I enjoy and always provided an aesthetic classroom for my students in which to work.

Being a teacher gave me the chance to meet and work with all types of amazing people from around the country and around the globe. Teaching provided a great segue to event planning, coordinating, and creative design in working with you to bring your event visions to reality.

I, like Janet, was a teacher and understand the importance of creativity in capturing an audience's attention. My background in business management serves to help guide your event process. My imaginative eye in woodworking allows me to create custom pieces for your wedding from backdrops to pillars to signs and more.

During my time as a teacher, I took part in other school functions serving as D.J. for school events like dances, talent shows, and proms. These events afforded me the opportunity to perfect this craft and develop custom playlists specifically for your event.

I have also run karaoke and trivia shows along with doing radio advertising helping me be perfect choice to act as your officiant, D.J. and emcee.

Having experience in business management, in organizing activities and in engineering, allows me to bring the technical side of things into play helping to ensure your day runs smoothly.

The experience in business management offers our clients an additional layer of comfort. I can work well under pressure and know how to act quickly when the unexepected occurs since I serve as a pit crew chief for a drag racing team.

I've developed an eye for creative design, especially when it comes to an a-symmetrical look and a purposefully eclectic vibe making for an awesome atmosphere.
